Artemis Welcomes New Investment Team Members: Matthew Greason & Brandon Hashemi

Artemis is excited to announce that Matthew Greason and Brandon Hashemi have joined the team as Associates. Matt and Brandon bring a distinct perspective and background that will enhance the firm’s success. 


Amongst a competitive applicant field, Artemis’ Chief Investment Officer & Partner, Euan Milne, spoke to Matt and Brandon’s hiring, saying, “Throughout the interview process, these two individuals demonstrated a proven and highly relevant skillset, intellectual rigor, and deep alignment with the firm's core values. We look forward to supporting Matt and Brandon as they take on their new responsibilities here at Artemis.”


Matt joins the Artemis team from Baird Global Investment Banking as a member of their Defense and Government team, where he focused on both sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory, supporting, structuring, and executing on a diverse set of sub-sectors with a variety of industry players. Prior to Baird, Matt worked in FP&A at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he specialized in forecasting crucial externally guided financial metrics. Matt graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Economics and Spanish. 


Brandon joins Artemis from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s CHIPS Program Office where he focused on investing in onshoring semiconductor manufacturing, material, and equipment companies to the United States. Prior to joining CHIPS, Brandon was a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Co. in their Boston office where he supported healthcare, aerospace & defense, and public sector clients. Brandon graduated from Williams College with a BA in History. Previously, he served as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. 


Together, Matt and Brandon will be directly involved in the evaluation of new investment opportunities and the growth of Artemis’ current portfolio of industrial tech companies.
