Artemis (“Artemis” or “the Firm”) is excited to announce that Darcey O’Halloran has joined the team as an Operating Partner, Talent. Darcey brings immense experience in Human Capital and Talent Strategy development to the Operating Team that will serve to enhance the firm’s most important assets, its people. As an Operating Partner, Darcey will work directly with portfolio companies to enhance our value creation through talent development and delivering distinctive human capital solutions.

Amongst a competitive applicant field, Artemis’ Head Operating Partner, Rudi Coetzee, spoke to Darcey’s hiring, saying, “Darcey is a highly inclusive leader that strives for collaboration while balancing a drive for results. She has built talent systems and HR playbooks from the ground up, with practical implementation in industrial tech companies. This will serve her well while incorporating Artemis' unique investment strategy and values incorporating best practices while we learn and evolve.”

Darcey joins Artemis from Gryphon Investors, a San Francisco based middle-market private equity firm. During her time there she served as Vice President of Human Resources, focused on supporting portfolio company HR leaders and teams to optimize their HR systems and processes including compensation, benefits, recruiting and retention in order to further professionalize and grow the function and business. Darcey earned a B.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University and an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
